Speaker<\/b>: \u00a0 Dr. David Oughton, St. Louis University<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

About the speaker<\/b>:\u00a0 Dr. David Oughton has been a board member of Citizens for Global Solutions for the past twenty-five years. He has been teaching courses in philosophy, religion, peace studies, and Holocaust studies for the last forty years. He is currently teaching courses in the world\u2019s religions at Saint Louis University. His interdisciplinary doctorate in \u201cPhilosophies and Theologies of Peace and Justice\u201d combined his interest in social philosophy, interreligious theology, and political science. In his dissertation, he argued that world peace requires a commitment of creative interchange among the religions and the nations of the world as well as a world federal government that would create, enforce, and adjudicate world laws. He is also a board member of the St. Louis Holocaust Museum, Interfaith Partnership, and the Living Insights Center.<\/span><\/p>\n
