That classic American dream – a family with a nice home, a decent car, kids and all – always eluded many people.  Still, generations lived the dream, especially about St. Louis.

However, they acknowledge unavoidable reductions next year. A proposed income tax amendment could shift financial burdens to sales taxes, disproportionately affecting seniors and working-class families, leading to program cuts.
