The wheel is turning in Missouri and, while the divide still seems great, progress was made in the 2018 midterms. We tend to be late adopters of trends that start at the coast and move inland, but change is coming if we stay strong.
The candidates have stepped up, listened to voters and made their cases. Now it is our turn.
We now have the potential for restoring civility and integrity to our political system if we have the will. We have solid progressive proposals that can make us safer, healthier, fiscally responsible and more just — and a willingness by Democrats to work collaboratively with all to ensure the promise of America.
There ARE good people out there, eager to serve, who are both accessible and responsible; who know our country and state work best when we come together, not wedged apart; who have the character to represent us well.

West County Democrats was formed by a group of concerned citizens. The purposes of the organization are to educate its members on issues of public, cultural, or political concern, to encourage members to actively support Democratic candidates for political office, and to support social action projects or community support activities as approved by the membership.
Come and engage these candidates. Give them feedback on their presentations, ask questions and hear answers.
