In August our guest speaker, Dr. Dave Robertson, Political Science Department at UMSL, suffered a medical emergency which caused us to cancel the August 10 meeting. Mr. Jaco, a Missouri native, holds degrees from the University of Chicago and Columbia University, and has received numerous awards including three Peabody awards. He has been an overseas correspondent, a reporter and anchor on radio and television, having worked for WXRT, NBC, CNN, KMOX, KTVI, KTRS, and the St. Louis American. In his spare time he’s also written both fiction and nonfiction books. We’re fortunate that he returned to St. Louis and is available to share his political expertise with us.
