Does It Make Sense to Allow Guns in Schools and Bars?

Legislative committees at the State of Missouri are considering two bills right now that will affect your safety and the safety of your family. H 593 and H 630 would change Missouri law to allow people to carry hidden, loaded handguns in Missouri schools, college and university facilities, and bars, along with daycare centers, sports arenas, and police stations. Lawmakers should put the safety of their communities first and reject the gun lobby’s dangerous “guns everywhere” agenda in Missouri.  You can read more about these bills here: missouri-h-593-h-630-guns-everywhere

You may or may not be contacted by Everytown for Gun Safety or Moms Demand Action encouraging your direct participation, but if you disagree with these bills, you should call your state rep and let them know.  For instance, those of  you are in Missouri District 99 (which covers a wide area of West St. Louis County), your rep is now Jean Evans, who can be reached at 573-751-3859.
