10:30 a.m. PRESENTATION: Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America
Mary Gross is the Membership Lead-Missouri for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. She has been a volunteer with Moms Demand Action since 2014, when she started making phone calls and passing out literature to oppose bad gun legislation. She recruits volunteers to be phone bankers around the state who have expressed interest in the organization. Mary creates phone banks and trains callers both in person and on Zoom, as well as talking to lawmakers and following legislation.
