10:20 a.m. PRESENTATION – Missouri House Representative Ray Reed
Mr. Reed was elected to the MO House of Representatives in 2024 (District 83). The District includes parts of Maplewood, Brentwood, Richmond Heights, Shrewsbury and Affton. Educated at Brentwood H.S. and the University of Central Missouri, Ray began his career in public service as an intern in the Office of Governor Jay Nixon.
His work centers on creating opportunities for working families, expanding access to affordable healthcare, protecting reproductive rights, and ensuring every Missourian, regardless of their background, can thrive.
Following Rep. Reed’s presentation, Glenn Koenen will present his Legislative Report.
I had to leave the June 9, meeting early for another appointment, but first I want to say how wonderfully impressed I am with Missouri House Representative Ray Reed, and having worked in the Office of Governor Jay Nixon as well as Claire McCaskill are major positives for me. I know we are meeting for No Kings Day and I heard it will be on Weidmanm and Manchester. Am I correct? If so, will this be on the south or north of Manchester Rd?
