We are now collecting dues for the 2026 calendar year. Dues are $20 per member and can be paid at our monthly meetings OR checks can be mailed to:

Presentation:

A speaker from Missouri Right to Education, a ballot initiative which would guarantee that kids, teachers, and schools get the resources they need.  Their website:  https://moeducation.org

Our primary speaker is a staff attorney with the Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project in St. Louis. Remi Gavlick is a staff attorney with MICA. The Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project is committed to working with low-income immigrants to overcome barriers to justice, utilizing legal services, organizing, advocacy, and education to promote the voice and human dignity of immigrant communities.

After the presentations, we will hear a current report from Glenn Koenen of legislative happenings in MO and in Washington, D.C.

Petitions from Respect MO Voters (protecting the initiative petition process )and People Not Politicians (placing the illegal Republican gerrymander of our Congressional Districts on the ’26 ballot) will be available for people to sign before and after our meeting.

As always, you may bring non-perishable food items for Circle of Concern to our meetings.
