The Clayton Township Democrats held their July monthly meeting on Tuesday the 25th at 7pm in the Mid-County Library branch on Maryland Ave. in Clayton. The meeting saw record attendance, with over 55 individuals turning out to listen to Missouri Democratic Party Chair, Stephen Webber, speak with membership about the Party’s various initiatives in 2017, 2018, and beyond. Chairman Webber informed the group that the MDP was focusing heaving on candidate recruitment, in addition to building the Party structure from the Township level up. Clayton Township Democrats will not meet in August; rather, on September 20 it will join with Queeny and Lafayette Townships to host a 2nd Congressional District candidate forum.
