CAIR-MO ( Council on American Islamic Relations- Missouri) invites West County Democrats Club members & friends to the CAIR-MO local office Open House this coming Sunday, February 19th at 13408 Clayton Rd, St. Louis MO.
Just a brief summary about CAIR-MO:
CAIR-MO stands for Council on American Islamic Relations and is committed to protecting American-Muslim rights in the state of Missouri, especially in cases of legal abuse and Islamophobia. Recently, CAIR has partnered with ACLU-MO and other legal civil justice entities to tackle the cases of immigrant-visa deportation and detainment following the Trump administrations executive order. CAIR-MO was the prime organizer of the largely successful March for Muslim and Immigrants on the St.Louis Federal Court House in early February following the Executive Order banning visa-holders from 7 muslim-majority countries into the United States.
CAIR-MO greatly values the partnership of other community progressive organizations and efforts. We would love to have WCD members visit our office any time from 1pm to 6pm on February for our Open House to meet our staff, board members, and attorneys.
