Tired of watching FOX News spew “alternative facts” into your gym, your physician’s office waiting room, your favorite bar or restaurant? Learn the deliberate tactics FOX News uses to persuade rather than inform viewers.
- Don Corrigan — newspaper editor, author and professor of Journalism and Mass Communications at Webster University — will discuss the origins of FOX News and its role in distorting political dialog in America.
- A preview of the film, “The Brainwashing of My Dad,” which exposes the tactics of propaganda Fox News and Talk Radio intentionally use.
- Address, compose and send postcards asking businesses and institutions to turn off FOX News. (Bring with you the names and addresses of places you’ve seen FOX News for public viewing and where you would like to see FOX turned off: Gyms, Offices, Schools, and Restaurants!
