This is a reminder to regular members of the West County Democrats. There will be no general meeting in August, and we will be returning to the regular schedule in September.
August is peak vacation month and it’s also time for candidates who’ve won their primaries to kick their campaigns into overdrive. They need YOUR support. If you are able, please contact Democratic candidates hoping to represent your community and offer to lend a hand. Yard signs, neighborhood canvassing and monetary support are all welcomed. It is very important that Democrats are very visible and accessible right now.
To view the Democratic candidates running in Missouri click here. This site will inform you about what district you now reside, and identify the candidates running in your area. Each candidate’s profile will have a website link, a place you can learn about the issues– and volunteer.
One final note. If you’ve never done this before, the volunteer activities each candidate needs are pretty easy and pretty fun. Bring your energy and engage your family, because you will be surprised how many like minded folks you’ll meet and the enthusiasm you’ll find. Beyond that, take pride in the Democratic Party and the opportunity to make a difference.
