Few forms of American music can claim a history as long, as tradition-rich, and as complex as the Blues.  Since its origins in the Deep South long ago, the Blues has been a bedrock for virtually all American popular music of the last hundred plus years.

We will enjoy a guided tour as we take a look at the legendary music scene and learn how the blues influenced Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and even hip hop.  We will have fun with the interactive exhibits as you play your own instrument in a jug band and write your own blues tune in another.

The Blues has always expressed emotional, heartfelt truths about life that continue to speak to generations of listeners, from all corners and walks of society.
