Presentations and Q&A with Candidates

These WCD morning forums in May, July, August, September, and October provide extended (30 min.) opportunities for candidates who contact us for time to present their positions and engage with WCD members on issues of regional and state-wide importance. They are not invited by us but reserve time in the forums as it is available. They are made aware that the WCD club does not endorse candidates nor provide financial support for their candidacy. They are aware that the WCD is made up of active, educated, interested Democrats. Members are solicited for questions to present in advance to upcoming presenters.

The purpose of the forums is consistent with WCD purposes: to educate members on important issues related to the political health of our region and state. The WCD’s evening program, Focus 2018, provides additional contacts with candidates and issues. Listen for announcements at our regular meetings, or contact Mark Kumming at kummingm@yahoo.com for details.

West County Democrats was formed by a group of concerned citizens. The purposes of the organization are to educate its members on issues of public, cultural, or political concern, to encourage members to actively support Democratic candidates for political office, and to support social action projects or community support activities as approved by the membership.

Protect Union workers: DO NOT bring Walmart items to West County Democrat meetings.
